TRAGEDY STRIKES AS MARY STUART, THE FORMER QUEEN OF SCOTLAND IS BEHEADED BY THE ORDER OF ELIZABETH!

A REPORT BY SHEHRAZ DITTA

WELCOME BACK! That is what was said when I returned to THE TIMES office after retiring some 10 years earlier. As you can see, I have gone back to my old style of setting of The Times since I didn't like the way it is today! But sadly this is a one off since I am so old, but still I have a lot to get off my chest in this issue is The Times. The main issue today is that H.R.H. Mary Stuart was beheaded by the order of Queen Elizabeth of England. It is said that Mary Stuart had committed treason against the H.R.H. Queen Elizabeth and other people have said that they only did this because that if they didn't clear the former queen of Scotland, she could take the throne of England if Elizabeth died. Many people have been grieving for Mary Stuart, but others are glad that she is finally out of the picture. I personally can't say anything as sad as it is, but I can say that what has happened is a tragedy and I just hope that these actions can be justified. But as I sit here writing this newspaper report, I consider the possibility that it wasn't justified after all. Mary had been locked up for over 16 years and nothing was ever done to prevent her for going to the death sentence. We don't know what really happened, whether it was justified of not. Let's just say that what ever did happen, has already been accomplished. SD.
